Are you the kind of person who sees the potential in every child? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Blackpool starting March 2026 - July 2026.
This isn't just a "sit-at-the-back-of-the-class" role. You will be the bridge between frustration and breakthrough, working both within the classroom for core subjects and leading bespoke 1:1 sessions outside the classroom to boost self-esteem and academic confidence.
The Role at a Glance
* Hours: Monday - Friday (08:30 - 15:30) Term Time, temporary contract.
* Pay: 13.68 - 13.88 per hour.
* Location: Blackpool, Lancashire.
* The Mission: Empowering students with learning and cognition needs to thrive emotionally and academically.
Responsibilities
Are you the right fit? We are looking for someone who is proactive, patient, and deeply pastoral. You'll need:
* Experience as a TA/LSA in a UK school environment.
* The ability to build trust and rapport with students 1:1.
* A "can-do" attitude and strong communication skills.
* A valid DBS (or willingness to undergo vetting).
