Green Meadows, Freshwater Southern Housing are looking for a Senior Care & Support Worker to join our scheme atGreen Meadows, Freshwater, Isle of Wight. As Senior Care Worker you will assist the Registered Manager to lead and work as part of a team to provide care and support to residents in line with established care. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of residents and wider service requirement. You need to be physically able to undertake moving and handling and youwill be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service and Adult Barred List check. A driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance, for which mileage will be paid, is desirable. You need to be able to work evenings and weekends as appropriate and be required to be on the On-call rota and work on rota if needed. What youll be doing? To support the Registered Manager to line manage staff including supervision, appraisals, absence monitoring, and providing them with appropriate support and training to ensure their continuing personal and professional development as well as compliance with regulations Maintain awareness of all legislative and contractual agreements for effective and quality service provision. Monitor and assist with the development of resident involvement, daily activities and social inclusion within the wider community. Assist the Registered Manager in the assessment of potential residents if required. Provide care to residents, as identified in their person-centred care plan as necessary. This will include intimate personal care. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of care that promotes independence, rights, choices and inclusion in their community What youll need?
