Vehicle Technician Role
Are you a trained Level 3 City & Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking someone with previous experience working within a main car dealership to join a busy workshop.
You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Vehicle Technician position involves:
* Carrying out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
* Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
* Occasionally speaking with customers to provide your expert, technical opinion.
* Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
* Providing high levels of customer service to foster loyalty and referrals.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
Requirements include:
* At least 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician.
* Main dealership experience preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Focus on continuous development, learning, and adaptation.
* Passion for the motor industry.
* Good awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
* Completion of Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair, BTEC, City & Guilds qualification or above.
Additional skills that are beneficial:
* Aptitude for multi-tasking.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Quality awareness.
* Full driving license.
Vehicle Technician Salary
Basic depending on experience: £35,000; OTE: £60,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
