We’re seeking a hands‑on Restaurant Manager to lead our front‑of‑house team at the Afton Restaurant within Lochside House Hotel, ensuring a high‑quality dining experience and exceptional guest service.
Lochside House Hotel is part of the award‑winning, family‑owned RAD Hotel Group. As a member of our team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead, train, and motivate the front‑of‑house team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
* Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations and table flow.
* Recruit, schedule, and develop team members to maintain performance and morale.
* Monitor financial performance, including labour costs, sales targets, and stock control.
* Drive revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
* Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service.
* Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
* Handle guest feedback professionally and positively.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Duty Manager in a hotel or restaurant setting.
* Experience in a fast‑paced environment is beneficial.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
* Organised, proactive, and confident under pressure.
* Positive, professional, and team‑focused.
* A full, valid driving licence is preferred.
