Lorien's client, a fast-growing global SaaS provider with a strong reputation in their domain, is looking to hire an Application Support Engineer to join their expanding support function. Based out of either their Edinburgh or Glasgow office, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a tech-driven business with exciting projects, a collaborative culture, and a clear path for progression.

Shift Pattern (rotational):
6. Morning (6am-2:30pm) - Work from home
7. Mid (8am-4:30pm) - Office-based Tuesdays & Thursdays (Edinburgh or Glasgow), WFH rest of the week
8. Late (2:30pm-10pm) - Work from home
9. On-call rota - Approx. 1 in 4/5 weeks (post-probation)
Key Responsibilities:
10. Provide hands-on application support across core platforms
11. Manage and escalate support tickets appropriately
12. Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and other teams
13. Monitor remote client servers for stability
14. Manage user accounts and support portal access
15. Contribute to deployments, change/config projects, and process improvements
What You'll Bring:
16. Proven experience in Application Support or 1st /2nd Line Support
17. Strong hands-on SQL skills (Azure SQL a bonus)
18. Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID (AzureAD)
19. Ability to support users remotely
20. Understanding of ITIL, Change Management, or similar methodologies
