Job overview
Rendcomb College is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our catering team and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for pupils, staff, and functions. This role involves leading a well-established kitchen team, managing daily kitchen operations, innovating the menu, and maintaining consistently high standards of presentation, taste, and service across breakfast, lunch, supper and various functions.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in high-volume catering environments. They will possess strong leadership and people management skills, a hands-on and proactive approach, and an excellent understanding of food safety, allergens, and HACCP procedures. A genuine passion for food and service with a keen eye for detail is essential.
Start date: ASAP
Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7, permanent, all year round.
