Purpose of the role
To support change delivery managers in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring that project management processes and practices are aligned with controls and governance standards, and that projects support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Accountabilities
* Support change delivery managers, ensuring programme compliance with the Barclays Control Framework, including oversight of controls and governance standards.
* Create and implement standardised PMO processes and methodologies aligned with controls and governance standards to support successful project delivery.
* Monitor project performance, track progress, identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and report on project status to senior management.
* Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
* Facilitate project governance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective management of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
* Provide change management framework training to project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Continuously improve project management practices by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
