About the role
Our Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship offers the chance to gain practical experience, learn from skilled professionals, and achieve a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to meaningful projects.
From shaping bespoke furniture to installing frameworks and crafting detailed joinery, you’ll enjoy varied tasks and opportunities to develop your skills every day.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
1. Assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures, fittings, and furniture
2. Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
3. Using a variety of hand and power tools safely under supervision
4. Working with the team to ensure projects are completed to high standards and agreed timelines
5. Following health and safety guidelines and company policies on-site and in the workshop
6. Creating door frames and hanging doors
7. Fitting hinges and installing window frames and floor joists
8. Boxing in pipework
9. Measuring, marking out, cutting, finishing, positioning, and securing wood
10. Safely storing materials to prevent damage

Qualifications:
18. To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English
19. You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
