NHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital Monklands
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join its team of Consultants and multidisciplinary staff.
The Anaesthetics Department is part of the Surgical & Critical Care Directorate, offering services in a 7-theatre main operating suite and a 2-theatre day unit. It includes a 10-bed Level II/III ICU, admitting approximately 600 patients annually, and 6 Level I surgical beds, admitting over 200 patients yearly.
This full-time position is based on a 10 PA schedule, with 8 Direct Clinical Care and 2 Supporting Professional Activities, subject to final job plan approval. Applications from those seeking part-time work are welcome.
The successful candidate will provide general anaesthesia in the main theatre and day surgery unit, with out-of-hours work in theatres.
