I have a great opportunity for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer to join a leading company in Shopshire. My client is implementing growth in their manufacturing capabilities and need extra hands in their engineering department.
My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team on a continental shift pattern. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias, this role offers stability and progression routes.
Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:
* Salary £47,000
* Premium overtime rate
* 23 days holiday

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
* Continental shift rota. (2 days / 2 nights)
* Improve and promote safety across site.
* Carry out planned and preventive maintenance.
* Fault find on mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Respond to breakdowns.
* Report on machinery faults.
* Update CMMS.
* Contact OEM’s and suppliers.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Apprentice trained. (Mechanical or Electrical).
* Recognised engineering qualification.
* Strong fault-finding capabilities.
* CMMS experience.
* Health & Safety / Food Safety.
* Be knowledgeable in using quality assurance systems and standards.
* PLC knowledge (advantageous)
