The Met Hotel is undergoing an exciting transformation during 2025 with a full renovation set to elevate our guest experience. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Night Team Member to be part of our vibrant team and help us deliver exceptional service during the night shifts.

A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT TEAM MEMBER AT THE MET HOTEL, LEEDS
As a Night Team Member, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality service during the night shifts. You will provide guests with a seamless experience, ensuring their comfort, safety, and satisfaction during the quieter hours of the hotel. Youll also support with hotel security and ensure all operational tasks are completed to the highest standard.
What Youll Be Doing...
Reporting to the Night Guest Service Manager, your working day will include:
* Welcome late-arriving guests with a warm and friendly greeting, assisting them with check-ins, check-outs, and any needs they have during their stay.
* Supporting with running the night audit and completing end-of-day reports, ensuring everything is in order and ready for the morning shift.
* Be the point of contact for any guest requests throughout the night, whether its a midnight snack or extra towels, ensuring everyone feels taken care of even at the late hour.
* Keep the lobby and public areas tidy, organised, and welcoming, setting the hotel up for a smooth start the next day.
* Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure that all guests and hotel property are safe and sound throughout the night.
* Communicate effectively with the morning team, ensuring a smooth handover of tasks and any important updates, so they can start the day without a hitch.
* Respond to guest concerns and operational issues with a calm and proactive approach, ensuring a positive outcome for both the guest and the business
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Night Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills:
* Comfortable working the late-night shifts, bringing energy to the team even in the quieter hours.
* A welcoming demeanour and a service-oriented attitude, ready to assist guests with a smileeven at 3 a.m.
* Strong attention to detail, especially when handling nightly audits, reports, and ensuring everything is in order for the morning team.
* The ability to stay composed and manage unexpected situations or guest requests, keeping everything running smoothly no matter the hour.
* Ability to work independently but also collaborate with your colleagues, ensuring the hotel is well-prepared for the morning.
* Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, balancing the quiet of the night with the energy needed to support the hotels operations.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality or a similar industry (but not essential).
