Introduction
Great opportunity to work as a Security Supervisor for our client at the Tunbridge NHS Trust. You will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to build a career with a major security provider.
Contract Information
* Pay Rate: £15.86 per hour
* Hours: Average 42 hours per week
* Shifts: 4 on 4 off and nights only
* SIA Licence: Door Supervisor only & CCTV Licence (Desirable)
Responsibilities
* Act as an ambassador for both the client and the company, maintaining a welcoming approach and professional appearance.
* Manage the Night/Day Security Team and the Security Control room CCTV operations.
* Takes ownership of the site assignment instructions.
* Ensures security officers carry out all duties as per site instructions.
* Attends meetings when required.
* Ensures correct adherence to all reporting structures, maintaining correct protocol.
* Conducts monthly staff welfare checks and annual staff appraisals.
* Ensures all required paperwork is completed, up to date and maintained.
* Supports the security team on-site, covering holiday and sickness planning.
* Guarantees staff competency through induction and ongoing training such as toolbox talks.
* Complies with the Company's Policies, Management Plans and Procedures.
* Fulfil Health and Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans.
* Undertakes other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as reasonably required within the Department / Service.
* Liaises with the client and operations management.
* Writes in-depth reports on incidents and the day‑to‑day checks of the site.
* Maintains excellent site knowledge of both the building and surrounding area to answer users’ questions effectively.
* Demonstrates excellent time‑keeping and organisational skills.
* Observes building security SOPs to ensure safety of the building and its users.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
* Aged 18 or over.
* Confident communicator and team player.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport.
* Valid Door Supervisor SIA licence; CCTV training will be provided if desired.
* Good IT knowledge.
