PFI Account Director
We are recruiting for a PFI Account Director in the Southeast / London region to lead the delivery of hard Facilities Management (Hard FM) services across multiple Healthcare PFI sites.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, PFI contractual compliance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PFI healthcare facilities management, with the ability to build lasting client relationships, lead high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement.

Location: Southeast / London
Salary: £80,000 (negotiable) + Competitive Bonus + benefits
Hybrid working - (potential to work from home 2 days per week depending on client needs and requirements)

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Act as the key point of contact for, public sector client fostering trusted and strategic partnerships aligned with client goals.
Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of hard Facilities Management services, ensuring operational compliance, contractual adherence, and service excellence across all sites.
Leadership: Lead, inspire and support a team of Facilities Management professionals, cultivating a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and development.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the Healthcare account, ensuring cost-effective operations and achievement of financial targets.
Strategic Direction: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation, NHS policies, and statutory requirements while proactively managing associated risks.
Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to maintain and enhance operational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
Essential: PFI background within healthcare environments
Desirable: IWFM or equivalent professional certification
5+ years in senior FM roles managing large-scale contracts
Proven ability to deliver operational and financial targets
Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams
Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation
In-depth knowledge of compliance within PFI healthcare and public sector
Client-focused, with a track record of building trusted relationships
Excellent communicator, confident engaging at all levels
Analytical, solution-oriented, and able to manage complex challenges
Resilient, adaptable, and responsive in dynamic environments
