Job summary
We require a Principal Applied Psychologist to undertake a variety of projects within the Psychological Professions to support workforce development within the trust.
Main duties of the job
Project work includes but is not limited to; PP workforce data, Service evaluations, Psychological services for staff, and Psychological therapy/ interventions assurance. The postholder will report to the Chief Psychological Professions Officer and liaise with other Psychological Professions staff across the trust.

1. Must have substantial experience of: o Working as a qualified applied psychologist within the designated service including a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and a range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings.
2. Exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care as a care co-ordinator and leader of a multidisciplinary team
3. Liaison and joint working with statutory, voluntary and private sector agencies
4. Teaching, training, clinical supervision and field supervisor for doctoral theses
5. Research and development
6. Active participation in quality and service improvement initiatives

28. Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical / counselling / forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS
29. HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
30. Post doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
31. Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees
32. Trained in care co-ordination
33. Evidence of continuing professional development
