About the role (External)
What does the average day look like?
It’s a varied role, so no two days will be the same. On any given day, you could be leading a meeting with key industry stakeholders; negotiating a new rail connection agreement; or heading to a freight terminal to visit a customer, dressed in full PPE. Always, you’ll demonstrate Network Rail’s core behaviours, and inspire others to deliver for our customers.
Person Specification / Essential Criteria
·Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
·Commercially astute, persuasive and customer focussed
·Proven ability to negotiate in a complex commercial environment
·Knowledge of relevant contracts and contractual environment
·Experience of managing contractual relationships
