Job Description
I am working with a major civil engineering contractor delivering a significant wastewater infrastructure scheme in the East Midlands. We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman with a strong background in large-diameter pipeline installation to support ongoing site operations near Loughborough.
The RoleAs General Foreman, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of site activities, with a key focus on ductile iron pipeline installation (up to 1400mm diameter). You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the required quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising pipe laying and associated civils works on wastewater schemesManaging installation of large-diameter ductile iron pipelines (up to 1400mm)Leading site operatives and subcontractorsEnsuring works are delivered in line with RAMS and project programmeMaintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and productivityLiaising with site management and engineering teamsSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a General Foreman on wastewater or utilities projectsStrong background in dirty water / wastewater infrastructureHands-on experience with large-diameter ductile iron pipelinesAbility to manage crews, subcontractors and daily site activitiesSolid understanding of health & safety within a live utilities environmentTickets / Qualifications (Preferred)Gold CSCSSSSTS or SMSTSEUSR (Water Hygiene advantageous)What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
