We are looking for a Light Goods Vehicle & Heavy Goods Vehicle apprentices to join our small team.
Salary:
£7.55 - £12.21 per hour (In Line with National Minimum wage rates & current apprenticeship progression)
Location:
Colchester, Essex.
Hours:
07:30am-05:00pm Monday-Friday with one 30min unpaid break.
If under 18 hours will be 08:00am-05:00pm Monday-Friday with one 1hr unpaid lunch break.

The Company:
Fleetsmith is part of the EJT group who have been trading for 60 years. Fleetsmith are based in Colchester, Essex and specialise in Commerical Heavy Goods vehicle servicing and maintenance.
The Role:
As an apprentice, you will be working as part of a small team shadowing the current team and performing tasks such as general repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles, carry out repairs on Light vehicles or Heavy Goods vehicles. Work towards a level 2 or 3 Motor Vehicle service and maintenance technician apprenticeship, attending college as part of the course.
About you:
· Enrolled in or willing to start a Motor vehicle apprenticeship course on next enrolment dates.
· Be enthusiastic and motivated
· Ability to work well under pressure
· Ability to work within a small team
· A full UK driving licence and access to own transport is preferred due to the workshops location, but not essential. Applicants must be able to commute to the workplace and college, and those without a driving licence should be working towards obtaining one.
