Overview
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a renowned International Defence business, seeking to recruit an Apprenticeship Coach (Vehicle Mechanics) on a permanent basis due to growth, covering the South of the UK. This role offers fully remote working from home, with travel to various sites including Southampton, Portsmouth, Thorney Island, Tidworth, Chichester, Aldershot, Windsor, Sandhurst, Bovington, and Bulford.
Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role that may become permanent at the end of the contract.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assess learner work and activities, providing feedback on progress and ensuring all relevant paperwork for the induction process is completed as per company policy and procedures, with details communicated to administration and relevant offices as learners are posted.
* Deliver training to support learners' successful completion of units towards their Apprenticeship Programme.
* Conduct training and coaching reviews with learners at scheduled intervals following ESFA and company guidelines.
* Complete all relevant apprenticeship paperwork, ensuring details are passed to administration and relevant offices.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields.
* Experience in supporting and delivering Apprenticeship Programmes, including assessment, lesson planning, delivery, and training solution implementation.
* Good understanding of Equality & Diversity principles.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent administrative skills.
* Ability to liaise effectively with military personnel at all levels, including soldiers and senior officers (Majors, Colonels, etc.).
* Military sector experience is preferred.
* Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
* An assessor qualification is desirable; however, training will be provided if the candidate demonstrates the required experience and willingness to learn.

* Location: South West and South East of the UK
* Salary: £36,400
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
