INSIGHT MANAGER - SPORTS AND LEISURE
LOCATION: Just outside of Bristol (4-days per week in the office)
SALARY: £35,000 circa
THE HEADLINE
A brand new role has opened up for an Insight Manager to join a specialist agency, based just outside of Bristol, that work with global clients in the sports and leisure space. This role has been developed to help resource the fastest growing team in the agency.
THE COMPANY
A specialist agency that has a focus on sports and leisure space, they provide a full suite of marketing services such as PR and comms, digital, strategy and media. They work with clients across the globe and are considered the experts in their specific field. The Insight team is a key player in the agency as clients work with them due to their knowledge of the consumer landscape which comes courtesy of their global research community.
THE ROLE
As an Insight Manager you will be managing and running your own projects as well as supporting the Head of Insight. The projects are multi-market in focus (UK, USA and Europe) and are primarily quantitative focussed (brand audits, segmentation, market exploration etc.) with the odd qualitative study. You will be working with both internal stakeholders and also external clients, who all look to you to provide key insights into the sports and leisure space. There is also an ability to work on thought leadership pieces that helps inform the wider agency and sell the business to future clients.
THE SKILLS
The ideal candidate will be someone with a background in market research developed in either an agency or client side setting. You will need to be well versed in quantitative research methods (ad hoc experience is key) and with maybe some exposure to qualitative research (although this is not crucial). Furthermore, an understanding of how to run research projects from start to finish is a must, as is an ability to translate the research findings into key insights that can inform the clients. A passion for working on sports and leisure clients is also a key aspect of the role. You will need to be able to get to the office just outside of Bristol for 4-days per week.
