The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronic systems that enhance our aerodynamics development for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive testing applications.
* Create system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop solutions.
* Evaluate and select components and technologies from external suppliers.
* Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure system performance and reliability.
* Oversee delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, and software integration.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in related fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
* Expertise in CAD and control systems.
