About the Role
Creagh Concrete is seeking a vigilant and experienced Banksman to join our team at our Toomebridge site. As a Banksman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and plant on-site, supporting our operational teams to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
Main Responsibilities
* Direct and coordinate the movement of vehicles and mobile plant around the site
* Communicate clearly with drivers, operatives, and site management to ensure safety at all times
* Provide accurate signals and instructions to vehicle operators
* Monitor entry and exit points for deliveries and collections
* Carry out daily equipment and safety checks
* Assist in maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
* Report any incidents, near misses, or hazards immediately
Essential Criteria
* Valid Banksman/Traffic Marshall qualification or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
* Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to remain vigilant and calm under pressure
* Reliable and punctual with a keen eye for detail
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working in a precast concrete or similar manufacturing environment
* First Aid qualification
