Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic registered nurse with evidence of post‑registration experience and professional development who can work flexibly within a dynamic environment, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care, develop an in‑depth knowledge of the specialism, demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients and the multidisciplinary team, support patients and families’ psychological and emotional needs, assist the senior HPB clinical nurse specialist in delivering high‑quality Upper GI services and HPB cancer patient pathways, contribute to education, research and audit, play a key role in the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, coordinated and timely care, act as key worker for a caseload of patients, exercise high‑level clinical decision‑making, and monitor and improve standards of care.
