Role: National Account Manager

We’re exclusively partnering with Lotus Bakeries on a major commercial growth project, supporting ten hires across National Account Management and Category Management. With a portfolio that includes Lotus Biscoff, TREK, Nakd, Peter’s Yard and BEAR, this investment reflects a clear commitment to accelerating performance across some of the most recognisable and high growth brands in the category.
As part of this wider build, we’re hiring a National Account Manager to join the Biscoff UK team, reporting directly to the Head of Grocery. This is a high-visibility role within a business that blends global brand power with the agility of a growth-focused UK team.
The Opportunity
This NAM role sits within the Retail team and takes full ownership of key customers across Convenience, Wholesale and Cash & Carry, including accounts such as Co-op, Nisa, Spar, One Stop, Bestway and WHSmith Travel. You will have true end-to-end accountability — from annual planning and P&L delivery through to execution in store.
Biscoff’s growth in the UK is driven by brand momentum, disciplined commercial execution and distribution expansion rather than constant innovation cycles. This means the role suits a commercially sharp operator who understands how to build long-term customer partnerships, optimise range, deliver promotional return and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Full day-to-day management of named retail accounts within Convenience, Wholesale and Cash & Carry
* Ownership of account budgets, forecasting and P&L performance
* Lead annual customer plans and joint business plans
* Deliver promotional plans and post-event evaluation
* Develop and present compelling range review proposals
* Support new line listings and ensure flawless in-store execution
* Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain to manage availability and minimise gaps
* Partner with Category and Shopper Marketing to build strong sell-in stories and aligned activation plans
* Build strong networks across buying, supply chain, merchandising and promotional teams
* Regular store visits to review execution and competitor landscape
About You
We’re looking for a commercially driven, resilient and ambitious National Account Manager who thrives in a performance-led environment.
You will likely have:
* Degree-level education
* Proven success managing retail buyers and delivering tangible results
* Strong P&L and margin understanding
* Analytical confidence — comfortable using data to influence decisions
* Resilience and tenacity in negotiation environments
* A collaborative, low-ego approach aligned to a team-first culture
* Experience within Convenience, Wholesale or value-led channels is highly advantageous.
