Conveyancing Paralegal
Our client based in Chelmsford with excellent transport links, have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing Department. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience of working in a Conveyancing department.
About the Role
* Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients/developers/brokers
* Processing client’s initial onboarding documentation, carrying out ID Checks, reviewing proof of funds and progressing matters through the early stages of new build transactions
* Providing quotes to prospective clients using our online quote tool
* Land Registry Direct system application forms
* Completing Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches
* Preparing completion statements
* Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals
* Dealing with NHBC Warranty portals
* Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry forms
* Building up a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties
About You
* Ideally two years or more working within a Conveyancing department carrying out Residential Conveyancing transactions
* Experience supporting multiple Fee Earners
* New build experience would be useful, but not essential
* Confident, clear, and articulate communication skills both orally and in writing
* Ability to work in a planned and organised way with the ability to multitask
* Experience of using InfoTrack case management training will be provided
