To deliver compliant Fire Protection Site Services across the Balfour Beatty Group and External Customers, providing high standards of customer service. Mentoring and providing fire services expertise.
What you'll be doing
As a Fire Engineering Supervisor you will:
1. Have day to day responsibility for the regional technicians
2. Be responsible for mandatory quality audits within your region for the business accreditation including but not limited to BAFE SP101 & 203
3. Responsible for mandatory H&S audits within your region
4. Have a full understanding of ISO9001-2015 to ensure the company complies and continues to comply with the requirements of ISO9001-2015 and future amendments
5. Undertake Inspections and service maintenance and installation within region of firefighting equipment across internal and external customers.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
Essential
5 years experience within fire safety specifically around risks of large and medium sized buildings used by the
general public.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of British Standard PAS 7 Fire risk management system
specification and current British standards for fire extinguisher/ alarms, fire safety signage and dry risers.
Desirable
FE Registered
Fire Alarm Commissioning Experience
Experience of installing hard wired fire alarm
Experience of conducting fire risk assessments and fire safety audits
Level 3/4 fire safety/risk assessor qualification
Membership of the IFE or IFSM or similar professional organisation.
