Thinking about a future in teaching? Or looking to build your classroom experience in a secondary school?
We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Wolverhampton that's looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, develop your confidence, and make a real impact on students' learning.
The school has a strong sense of community, clear expectations, and a supportive staff team who work together to create a positive learning environment where students can thrive.
What you'll be doing
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into lessons when teachers are absent and help keep learning on track. You'll:

* Keep students focused, engaged, and motivated
* Manage classroom behaviour using the school's policies and routines
* Support students as they work independently
* Create a calm and purposeful learning environment
* Build positive relationships with students and staff
You won't be expected to plan lessons or mark work, making this an excellent stepping stone for anyone considering teacher training or a career in education.
What the school offers
* Supportive leadership team and experienced staff
* Clear behaviour expectations and routines
* Modern facilities and well-resourced classrooms
* Strong pastoral support for students
* Opportunities to learn from experienced educators
* A welcoming environment where staff development is encouraged
