We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, professional, and enthusiastic Receptionist at CEMAST. You will be working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00, and half days on Wednesday and Friday.

Duties
* Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house Reception Service for students, staff, and visitors.
* Maintain the College Reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, welcoming, and up-to-date.
* Operate the College switchboard effectively to ensure positive interactions with all stakeholders.
* Monitor students on the High-Risk Attendance Register via Pro Solution reports and staff notifications.
* Contact parents/guardians/students as appropriate, log notes, and refer to Safeguarding/Health & Wellbeing staff as needed.
* Maintain records, statistics, and electronic data; support administrative tasks including producing attendance reports for employers.
* Support the PA and Operations Co-ordinator with administrative duties.
* Assist students with their qualifications, including coordinating orders, communications, and arranging meetings.
* Organize photocopying and manage stationery stocks.
* Provide admin support to teaching staff.
* Assist in planning and organizing events such as guest visits, ensuring staff are briefed.
* Attend and support College events like Open Evenings, Welcome Days, and Advice Evenings.
Skills/Experience
* Strong IT skills, including word processing and database management; experience with apprentices or learners is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
* Organized with the ability to keep accurate records.
* Previous experience in a Receptionist role and customer service environment.
Qualifications
* At least GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths at grade C or above, with demonstrable IT skills.
* Customer Service qualifications.
