Production Operative - Sunderland
We are currently recruiting an Production Operative / Operator to work for one of our clients based in Sunderland. This position will begin on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent after a number of weeks for the right candidate.
Ideally, applicants will have previous experience in soldering or welding, although this is not essential. Candidates with experience in hands-on roles using hand tools or working with metal products will also be considered.
Pay Rate
£12.61 – £14.06 per hour, depending on experience.
The higher rate applies to candidates who are competent in MIG welding, or once full training has been completed.
Production Operative Working Hours
The role will initially be on a day shift, with the possibility of moving onto shifts in the future.
Day Shift:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am - 12:15pm
Production Operative Skills and Experience
* Experience working with metal products
* Welding or soldering experience (preferred)
* Confident using hand tools
* Reliable and hardworking
