Band 4 Nurse – Respiratory Medicine
We are looking for a Band 4 Nurse to provide direct patient care within the Respiratory Medicine department, working across the Respiratory Clinic, Hethel ward, Intwood Ward and Respiratory Investigation Unit.
Responsibilities
* Carry out assigned direct patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Provide care for a range of respiratory sub‑specialties including COPD, asthma, lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, domiciliary CPAP, NIV, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary rehabilitation, domiciliary oxygen, tuberculosis and pleural disease.
* Assist with investigatory procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS.
* Work across the Out‑Patient clinic and Respiratory Investigation Unit, managing the patient journey from clinic to investigation and back.
* Support procedures with consultants and the nursing team, deliver health education and teaching with specialist nurses, and complete pre‑clinic observations.
* Collaborate with the Pleural Specialist Nurse and assist with patient interventions.
