Role: Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £425 - £475 P/W
Location: Quinton, B32
**About the role**
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and help create a positive, engaging learning environment. In this role, you will support the classroom teacher by preparing materials, setting up resources, and assisting with daily lessons and activities. You will provide one-to-one or small-group support to students who need extra guidance, monitor progress and behavior, and share observations to help tailor learning plans. Additional responsibilities include helping with grading, maintaining records, and supervising students during breaks or extracurricular activities. Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning are essential previous experience in education is also required.

**Role Requirements**
* Previous experience supporting children in a school setting is essential
* Level 2 in Childcare and Education as a minimum is required
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
* Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required)
