About the role:
As a Solution Architect you will be working with the latest cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud, supporting the development of ground-breaking HR, Payroll and Finance Software Systems.
You will work with delivery teams and key stakeholders to provide decision making, support and guidance to develop the People First platform sustainably and effectively. You will develop and evangelize architectural design principles and initiatives to benefit software development and to achieve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with business & technical stakeholders to understand requirements, make Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and determine the technologies, architectural standards, and patterns to use, which vendors and services to use, and whether to build or buy.
* Ensuring NFRs & SLAs are defined, including performance, scalability, reliability & operability.
* Ensuring the costs and timelines are understood at a high level, along with the roadmap to deliver features and architectural improvements.
* Outlining the high-level architecture with focus on integration between systems.
* Engage with architecture team to build a common view of required principles, standards, and initiatives.
* Build effective relationships with senior technical staff ensuring a common understanding of goals and challenges.
* Provide technical oversight to delivery teams to provide guidance and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
* Create appropriate technical and architecture documentation appropriate for key audiences.
