Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our outpatient pharmacy team. The role will support dispensing services in our busy outpatient department and contribute to the development of clinical and commercial activities for outpatients and the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dispensing services and support the outpatient pharmacy team.
* Act as the first point of contact in the reception area, offering patient‑centred care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, using excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Adapt quickly to new situations and maintain a can‑do approach.
Salary & Hours
Band 2 to 3: £25,272 – £27,476 per annum.
37.5 hours a week. All MKUH roles are considered for flexible working.
Work Environment
Our pharmacy has recently been refurbished, installing a new Pharmacy Robot, controlled‑drugs automated cabinet, and opening a new Aseptic Unit and Outpatient Pharmacy.
