Field Sales Engineer - £25000 - £28000 Are you on the hunt for a customer-facing sales role? Looking to dive into the world of B2B sales and kickstart your career within the engineering industry? This could be the perfect role for you! This is a hybrid opportunity combining visiting clients face to face and working remotely to identify new business opportunities to grow the client base. You will have the fantastic opportunity to hone your sales skills on clients sites. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in the West Midlands area meeting clients face to face. You will be required to attend the HQ in Crewe 2 days a week. This is a sales position with the objective to maintain, retain and grow the assigned key customer accounts to meet the assigned Sales and Gross Margins targets. It will also include prospecting new clients and business development. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and develop long term relationships with key customers. Generate new profitable sales & Engineering Project opportunities within nominated key customers & prospects to develop FFT’s presence within the existing customer group and the market at large. Develop & proactively manage account growth plans. Assist in developing an efficient and effective operative plan for key markets and key allocated customers as required. Shadow senior account managers as well as senior sales people. Shadow the engineering team to learn the products and sales process. What we're looking for: A passion for learning, being naturally curious. A valid UK driving license is a must. Confident and strong communication skills. A "can do" attitude with a desire to get stuck in. Willingness to travel and visit clients across the west midlands area. Ability to commute to Crewe weekly. Experience or interest in the engineering industry.
