RECON Search are working with a technology‑led e‑commerce business. They specialise in data driven analytics for world class manufacturers and brands providing reference tools that enable them to monitor their performance in ecommerce and retail media.

They enable brands to make smarter business decisions in eCommerce, based on actionable data and insights providing information on online product prices, availability, share of search, etc. in more than 800 e‑retailers and 50 different countries. Their client portfolio includes industry giants such as Heineken, Diageo, and L'Oréal.

They are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Head of Sales with experience selling B2B Software Products and Services within the UK market, ideally targeting Enterprise accounts, to help scale by acquiring new clients, and also retaining and expanding existing accounts.

The Role
As a Head of Sales for the UK market, you will be an instrumental contributor to our go‑to‑market strategy, being able to have a direct impact on the growth of the company. You will showcase excellent communication, relationship, and negotiation skills with clients and future clients in the UK. You should also act proactively to address clients needs and facilitate the sale process end‑to‑end, acting as the glue between our Product team and the Clients as required, ensuring smooth transitions and effective account management under any circumstances, expanding our existing company‑client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop the Sales and Go to market strategy for the UK.

Generate new regional clients for our outstanding web based technology as a specialist in Ecommerce Data

Present demos to potential clients and do the follow‑up until closing the deal. To some extent you will also be responsible for account management but the main focus will be business development (hunting)

Understand the needs of our target prospects and articulate the value that their productprovides. Follow the full sales cycle.

Master the sales forecast as well as the tactical planning

Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches

Your profile should include the following:

Based in the UK

Experience in direct SaaS sales or a technology solution to Enterprise accounts (+3 years)

Strong experience in hunting new business and delivering online demos

Proven track record of success: in previous jobs, you always overachieved sales goals

Good communicator: excellent presentation and communication skills

Deep experience using Hubspot or any similar CRM

Smart, fast learner, and resourceful. Tech savvy

Strong character, perseverance, and grit

Good prioritization and focus skills, 80/20
