Role Purpose
The Internal Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets by managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. You will provide assistance relating to customer requests, loans, account status and ad hoc office tasks as they arise. This role will require excellent communication, organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and professional responses in both French and English.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations in line with company pricing and margin guidelines.
* Maintain and update the CRM system accurately with all customer interactions and sales opportunities.
* Follow and own responsibility for outstanding demo loans, ensure the return dates are met and extending when required.
* Support the external sales team with administrative tasks, customer follow-up, and lead qualification.
* Liaise with operations and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Maintain a strong working knowledge of TPL Vision’s product portfolio and applications within machine vision.
* Provide excellent after-sales support, resolving customer queries efficiently.
* Arranging and liaising with transport carriers, knowledge of Incoterms would be advantageous.
* Coordinate procurement of office and engineering supplies to ensure timely availability of materials.
* Coordinating and booking all travel arrangements for the wider team, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
* Conduct customer research and generate leads to support business development efforts.
* Collaborate with the VP of Sales and the team on tasks connected to your core responsibilities
Essential Skills & Personal Attributes
* Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
* Proven experience in an internal sales, sales support, or customer service role.
* Good understanding of, or a strong interest in, machine vision or industrial automation technologies.
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
* Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems.
* Experience in a technical sales environment.
* Knowledge of LED lighting solutions or related industrial products.
* Knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous
