Overview
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a great company who are very successful and well regarded in the Builders Merchants world. The Sales Manager role involves leading a sales team while also actively engaging in sales, identifying new opportunities and developing current ones. This internal role focuses on motivating the sales teams, maintaining targets, margins, pricing and delivering a smooth customer journey.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a sales team to meet targets.
* Directly engage in sales, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing ones.
* Ensure targets, margins and pricing are maintained in line with company policy.
* Maintain a smooth and easy customer journey to support repeat sales.
* Manage larger customers as a senior member of the team.
Qualifications
* Sales experience essential for imparting knowledge.
* Strong people skills and communication skills.
* Wide-ranging product knowledge with demonstrable sales skills.
* Attention to detail and methodical approach.
* Supervisory or management experience preferred.
