Location: Lincoln Start: September 2025 Role: Functional Skills (Maths & English) Level: Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) Pay: £25–£30 per hour (dependent on experience and provision) We are supporting alternative settings across Lincoln looking for Qualified Teachers to deliver Functional Skills tuition in Maths and English on a flexible, part-time basis from September. This role is ideal for teachers looking to step away from the full-time classroom while still making a direct impact. You'll be working 1:1 or in small groups, helping young people gain confidence and essential skills to move forward in their education. Role Details: Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English to learners aged 14 Opportunities available across outreach, APs and SEND settings Sessions typically run during school hours, term-time only All assignments are face-to-face You will need: QTS/QTLS and experience with either Functional Skills or GCSE delivery A calm, patient teaching style and flexible approach Ability to plan and adapt learning to suit individual needs An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain) All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
