* Experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or platformengineering role within complex digital environments.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments).
* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices.

Must haves
* Experience working in regulated or secure environments (defence, government, or similar preferred).
* Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly.
* Implementing infrastructure as code using approved tooling and patterns.
* Applying repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure to support consistency across environments.
* Use of AWS for cloud infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
* Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including deployment and management of clusters using EKS.
* Developing common services, manuals etc. to support delivery teams in taking ownership of their services through the entire development life cycle.
* CLI (BASH or SHELL).
* Delivery methods and techniques, including agile scrum experience.
* VCS (ideally Github).
* Building and maintaining containers.
* Good communication skills both in written and verbal format with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
* Strong soft skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Nice to haves
* Experience of doing all of the above at OS or S level.
* YAML based pipelines.
* Experience with MOD delivery processes.
* Hashicorp (such as Terraform, Packer, Vault).
* Observability (such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) Containerised services (such as Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Keycloak, Elk).
