Overview
Join a team of nearly 600 water experts delivering high-profile projects across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning to design, construction management, and long-term operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions that support the UK water industry’s generational change towards a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept to completion
* Deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions across water infrastructure
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
* Demonstrate exemplary health, safety and wellbeing management in line with Jacobs BeyondZero
* Develop relationships with existing water clients and support growth initiatives
What you’ll need
* Progressive experience in civil engineering, detailed design and design-and-build for water and wastewater projects
* Solid knowledge of civil engineering principles and project lifecycle management
* Familiarity with UK water sector regulations and safety protocols
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Member of ICE or CIWEM
* Robust understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation
* Commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
