Description
* Assist in the management of a caseload of rural property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, easements, and tenancies.
* Conduct title checks, draft reports on title, and liaise with the Land Registry.
* Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, transfers, licences, and deeds.
* Carry out searches (local authority, environmental, drainage, etc.) and interpret results.
* Manage client communications, including updates and requests for documentation.
* Liaise with external parties such as agents, surveyors, local authorities, and financial institutions.
* Support the solicitor in due diligence processes, particularly on complex rural and agricultural holdings.
* Maintain and update case management systems and client records.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and professional standards.
Profile
* Solid understanding of land law and property transaction processes.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
