Robert Half is partnering with growing business within the automotive sector, seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting and compliance activities.
This is a hands-on role working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
6 month interim assignment.
Onsite - North Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
2. Deliver variance analysis against budgets, with a focus on operational costs
3. Partner with department heads to review financial performance
4. Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
5. Support year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
6. Manage VAT reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
7. Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc finance projects
8. Provide support across transactional finance when required
Requirements:
9. Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
10. Strong Excel skills
11. Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
12. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
