Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled candidates to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role is essential in fostering communication skills and addressing the individual needs of students from preschool through eighth grade.
Location: Middletown, DE
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders.
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
* Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
* Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and school policies.
Qualifications:
* Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
* Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
* Background in conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
* Active or pending Delaware licensure.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
* Willingness to pass a background check and work on-site.
