We are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated chef/Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a chef/Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, bar and dining areas. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food and customer service.
Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
* Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to meet customer demands without compromising quality.
* Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management as required.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
* Ability to upsell menu items effectively, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
* A keen interest in working within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as needed.
* Must be able to drive due to village location.
* Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
* Must be at least 18 as working with alcohol.
