Job Summary / Purpose
We are looking for an HR/Payroll Assistant to handle a variety of personnel‑related administrative duties. Your role is to act as the liaison between our HR team (Manager & Administrator) and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. You will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, and relevant documents. The ideal candidate holds a strong administrative background, works autonomously, and can assist with complex HR duties such as posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and managing the recruitment life cycle.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day‑to‑day operations of the HR functions and duties
* Assist with payroll and manage cover gaps and holidays within the department
* Provide support to our HR Manager and HR Administrator
* Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
* Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
* Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
* Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
* Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees
* Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
