Job Title: Uddingston Hockey Club Content Creator
Directly reports to: Club Manager
Location: Uddingston Hockey Club & Hybrid
Position Summary
We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator to bring our brand to life across social media and our website. You'll lead on content gathering and creation on-site at the Club, with a focus on short form, TikTok & Reel videos and photos.
There is also the opportunity to extend the role and hours to include social media management, looking after our social media calendar using, scheduling content and managing the channels, including helping us connect with and grow our amazing #UddyFamily community. This role is supported by external Marketing support.
Responsibilities
Marketing
* Create and gather content for social media and web, including filming & editing short form video (Reels & TikToks) and content photography and social graphics.
* Generate creative ideas for content based on trends in the industry and on social media, which relate or can be related to our Hockey activity.
* Utilise brand guidelines.
General
* Coordinate with outside parties, as necessary.
* Manage a calendar and workflow to meet deadlines and expectations.
* Organise and attend meetings to keep colleagues up to date on projects.
* Any other duties as required.
Skills, knowledge & competencies.
* Experience of creating social media content, both video and photo/graphics.
* A passion for sports marketing and/or community sport.
* Awareness and interest in social media trends.
* Strong copywriting skills, good grammar and attention to detail.
* Experience of Canva.
* Filming and video editing skills, CapCut or similar.
Operating Hours & Pay: Hourly paid, part-time role with hours/week to be agreed. Days fluid dependent on Club requirements/seasons. During game seasons, Saturdays are expected set days. Additional travel to differing locations may be required.
