Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

First Military Recruitment are pleased to be able to offer this exceptional opportunity for a Production Manager for one of our market leading clients within the electrical manufacturing sector.
My client is looking for an experienced leader who has not only strong people management experience, but also a proven track record of success within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware and capable of driving operational efficiency, improving production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ability to analyse production performance and implement improvements to maximise output and profitability is essential.
The role reports to the Operations Director and forms part of the wider UK management team. This is a key position within the business, offering visibility and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide leadership and management of the production team within the Twyford facility.
Ensuring production targets are met in line with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Maintaining and improving productivity and efficiency through effective operational management.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices.
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and electrical industry standards.
Working collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams.
Monitoring and achieving key financial and operational KPI’s.
Minimising downtime and resolving production issues effectively.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to balance commercial objectives with operational and people-focused leadership.
A proven record of achievement within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience within the electrical sector or similar technical industry.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Track record of improving productivity and operational performance.
Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards within manufacturing
