Start date: September (Temp to perm)
Role: Receptionist/ Administrator
Location: Rossendale
Salary: From £13.75

A small Primary School in Rossendale is looking for School Receptionist/Administrator. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8.45am – 3.45 pm, this is a long-term opportunity to start in September 2025.

This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome. You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house area and supporting administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and sign in visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Input attendance registers accurately and efficiently.
Use internal systems such as SIMS and ParentPay to manage records and payments.
Communicate with parents and carers, including handling challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Manage your time and workload independently, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Support general administrative duties as required.
Skills and Qualities Required:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with sensitive situations professionally.
Good organisational skills and time management.
Experience using school-based systems is desirable.
A positive, proactive, and welcoming attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
