Job Description
The Accounts Payable role is initially a temporary Assignment and will be full time office based in Accrington. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager key responsibilities will include:
* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with payment terms.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and support month-end processes.
* Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice queries effectively.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
* Have previous experienced in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger
* Be able to consider a temporary role initially
* Be able to commute to Accrington office full time
