Some of our spaces have recently gone through a refurbishment and expansion of our services has meant we are looking for some new recruits!
Based in Edinburgh City Centre, the Royal Botanic Gardens is home to some wonderful and endangered species of plants in a beautiful setting.

Role Responsibility
1. Comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place
2. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the service yard including but not limited to, stacking all kitchen delivery boxes, pallets, cages in designated areas. Sweeping yard including smoking area, ensuring bin storage area is tidy
3. Maintain the upkeep and tidiness of the outdoor kitchen and equipment through daily checking. Kitchen should remain clean, tidy and organized every day according to the Company's standards and to the agreed specification of the client
4. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
5. Keep all work areas and surfaces clean and tidy at all times. Assist with routine cleaning schedules as required and ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness at all times
6. Ensure the kitchen is closed to the highest level of cleanliness in accordance to Health & Safety Laws, company policy and client expectation.
7. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provide

3. Able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
