WHAT TO EXPECT JLR have a brand new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to own and manage JLR’s new cross brand, multi-function, client orientated app which will be the pinnacle of JLRs consumer communication platform. The app will redefine the customer experience and how JLR as luxury brand improve the journey from introduction, spec and personalisation of their product, purchasing process, and also throughout duration of ownership of the product for consumers, automating and improving their experience and day to day lifestyle. With our brand new and exciting version 3.0 about to launch, we now need a technology orientated and passionate individual to continue to drive the In Control Remote (ICR) development/optimisation journey for the next decade, to own, support and help improve our unique customer journey. In your role as Product Owner of ‘In-Life Apps’ you will have direct responsibility for the ‘live’ In Control Remote App (ICR) – which currently services over one million users globally every week. You will be responsible executing the day-to-day management of the app – including compliance, quality assurance, enhanced CX journey integration and the business case – as well maintaining a stable and secure platform. This opportunity will give you ownership of the app and exposure to senior stakeholders across the business allowing you to showcase your skills and ability to help support your personal development and career progression path. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Working Directly with the GPO and other PO’s – co-delivering the vision of JLR Consumer Apps – delivering the Client Experience Framework. • Specifically, you will be managing the ICR for JLR – tasked with launching ICR v3 and developing the v3.x future development plan. • This team will also need to work with the in-market deployment team, facilitating training, comms, and operating model as we push out future versions. • Own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring it is transparent, visible, and understood and supports the squad in removing impediments. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Essential: • Previous experience in owning and managing a customer/client-based product or app and maintaining to a high performance. • Highly effective Stakeholder Management experience and multiple levels • A keen interest for new and emerging technology and passionate about own and managing a tech-based product or app. • A strong understanding of the JLR brand/principles and what JLR represents. • Proven experience of escalating and resolving issues in a timely manner, working with cross functional teams.
